Pastor Paul Yesucevitz serves as Assistant Pastor and Children’s
Director at Haven of Rest Baptist Church. He was born and raised in Brockton, MA, just south of Boston – and you
can still hear his accent when he preaches.
His training for the ministry started
at home. He counts it a great privilege to have grown up in a Christian home, and is thankful for his parents' commitment
to Christ. In 1992, Pastor Paul answered God’s call to the ministry and began attending Baptist Bible College
East in Boston, MA. It was here that he met his wife Kathi, and they married in 1996.
Pastor Paul frequently shares from his
own testimony and walk with Christ. When he preaches, his unique style makes the message feel more like a personal conversation,
rather than a sermon. His goal is to show how the power of Christ can transform a heart and life, and uses scripture
in conjunction with practical examples, to illustrate each point.
Kathi, a native of Connecticut, was raised in Beacon Falls.
She surrendered to serve God as a teenager and began attending Baptist Bible College East in 1993. She and her husband served
as Jr. Church Directors at their home church in West Bridgewater, MA, until God called them back to Connecticut in 1997.
Kathi prepares lessons and teaches weekly, guides new Sunday School teachers, home schools her children, and is always working
behind the scenes to make each and every youth outreach is a success.
Paul and Kathi have a passion to reach
our youth for Christ, and would love to minister to your children. They recently celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary,
have 5 beautiful children, and reside in West Haven, CT.
